[ Flora Tapestry]

2017-2021

Challenging the conventional embroidery materials, this is a series of small, medium and large scale floral patterns mainly using Linum and Delphinium seedpods, dried Limonium sinuatum and a selection of dried berries to create 3D floral shapes with plant material. The shapes are distributed flowing organically within the circular space of the embroidery hoop. Sizes range from 30cm x 30cm to 60cm x 60cm. All works come framed, see examples.
